A1 Bentley & Lyrica Anderson Hash Out Lies & Marriage Woes On “The Conversation”

Published

on

The last time viewers tuned into The Conversation, they watched as Ray J and his estranged wife Princess Love had a heated discussion about their marriage. It’s been announced that Ray J and Princess are on the path to divorce after Princess filed paperwork to end their marriage. Their relationship was fraught with scandal after Princess accused her husband of abandoning her in Las Vegas, an accusation that he vehemently denied. It seems that another Love & Hip Hop couple is airing out their grievances with one another on The Conversation now that the trailer for A1 Bentley and Lyrica Anderson’s feature has been shared.

The music industry couple have given the world a peek into their problems while on the VH1 reality show. They’ve admitted that infidelity and lies have caused a rift in their marriage, and as they attempt to reconcile and raise their young child together, unforgiveness seems to plague their relationship.

“I did you wrong, made a mistake, cheated, you couldn’t get over it,” A1 told his wife in the trailer. Lyrica later said that she has a “hard time being with someone that I don’t think it going to be completely faithful.” The Conversation with A1 Bentley and Lyrica Anderson airs on July 5 on the Zeus Network. Check out the trailer below.

George Floyd Said “I Can’t Breathe” Over 20 Times, Derek Chauvin Said Don’t Talk

Published

on

While three of the other police offers involved in the arrest and killing of George Floyd have been able to post bail and walk out of prison, Derek Chauvin remains behind bars with a bail set at $1 million. Tou Thau was the most recent officer to post his $750,000 bail this past weekend, on July 5th.

Chauvin, of course, is the officer who was largely responsible for Floyd’s death as he kneeled on the man’s neck for over eight minutes, even while Floyd pleaded that he could not breath, and called out for his dead mother. It appears new evidence has been released, involving audio from Thomas Lane’s body cam footage, which details some of the interaction that happened while he was kneeling. It’s cold-hearted, perhaps to be expected.

The transcripts from the body cam footage detail that Floyd reportedly said he could not breathe over twenty times during the arrest. At one point he said, “You’re going to kill me, man,” to which Chauvin replied, “Then stop talking, stop yelling. It takes a heck of a lot of oxygen to talk.”

The body cam transcripts were released as part of Lane’s request to have his charges dropped. Earl Gray, Lane’s attorney, has previously attempted to make his case to the public that Lane is devoid of guilt in the incident, and even went so far as to cast the blame on Floyd’s death on the bystanders who witnessed it.

Gray alleges that Lane basically did as much as he was allowed given the situation, as it was his fourth day on the job and Chauvin was his training officer. The body cam transcripts reveal Lane asked if they should roll Floyd over on his side twice, and Chauvin said no. “Lane had no basis to believe Chauvin was wrong in making that decision,” his attorney says.

Lane was able to make bail because he crowdfunded the costs.

Kanye West Reveals 2020 Running Mate, Confirms He Had COVID-19

Published

Anybody skeptical about Kanye West’s seemingly spur-of-the-moment announcement that he was running for President should wake up because it’s happening.

In an exclusive interview with Forbes, the recording artist/fashion designer spoke about his platform, revealing his running mate for the upcoming Presidential Election, clarifying which party he’s running for, speaking about a potential vaccine for the coronavirus, and more.

This upcoming election is one of the most important in recent memory. With his previous support of Donald Trump looming over everyone’s heads, West was quick to discuss whether he’s still a fan of the controversial forty-fifth President.

“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” he said, revealing that he is no longer on board with Trump’s ideals.

As for which platform he will be running for, West is creating his own. Calling it the Birthday Party, he has said that he’s already got support from Elon Musk and others, and that he’s running so he could win. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’m doing to win.”

His running mate will be Michelle Tidball, a preacher from Wyoming.

One of the most critiqued aspects of West’s late announcement has been the effect it will have on Joe Biden’s campaign. Many believe that West will only take away from the Black votes and those of young voters, hindering Biden’s campaign to a degree that would give Trump an easy win. He seems to be okay with that.

“I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy,” said West about siphoning away the Black vote from Biden.

In addition, West said that he’s never voted in his life, and that he had coronavirus back in February. He has recovered but, apparently, he’s not entirely down with a COVID-19 vaccine. He called vaccines “the mark of the beast.”

His stance on abortion was also made clear, as he said that “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”

With all this said, will you be voting for Kanye West in the fall?

A figure in pop culture infamy has reportedly passed away at 58-years-old. Back in the late 1990s, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing about Mary Kay Letourneau. In 1996, when she was 34-years-old, Letourneau was a schoolteacher who was engaging in a sexual relationship with her 12-year-old, sixth-grade student Vii Fualaau. While awaiting trial, Mark Kay Letourneau gave birth to Fualaau’s child, and she took a plea agreement that stated she would only spend a few months behind bars. She also was required to never have contact with Fualaau again.

However, upon leaving jail, she was caught with Fualaau inside of a vehicle and was sent to prison for seven years. She gave birth to Fualaau’s second child just months into her sentence. When she was released in 2004, she once again reunited with Fualaau and they married the following year. He petitioned the court to remove the mandate keeping them apart, however, she had to remain registered as a sex offender. The couple was together for over a decade before deciding to split.

According to reports, Mary Kay Letourneau quietly battled metastatic cancer before succumbing to the illness on Tuesday (July 7). “Mary, and all of us, found great strength in having our immediate and extended family members together to join her in this arduous struggle,” her family said in a statement. “We did our very best to care for Mary and one another as we kept her close and stayed close together.”
