A$AP Bari Pleads Guilty During Trial In London Over sexual assault Charges

Today, A$ap Bari, real name Jabari Shelton, Showed up at court hearing and was expected to deny two charges following an incident in 2017 but pleaded guilty on one of the charges.

A$AP Bari ‘s trial began today, Thursday, January 3rd at London’s Old Bailey.

The Fashion guru pleaded guilty to one of the two charges, ITV News reports, and ordered to pay a $5K fine plus $3K compensation.

Bari, previously denied both charges at an initial hearing in 2018.

Shelton, 27, was arrested in May last year after a video emerged on social medias which led Nike to stop their joint venture with the Vlone boss who was at the top of his game.

The video showed an incident that happened in a London hotel during July 2017, where a woman was asked for sexual favors and accused him of assaulting her in the bathroom after she declined his advances.

He was then let go from Nike with who he was collaborating on ventures with his own brand Vlone. The brand as almost completely dissappeared from the streetwear culture and Bari hasn’t been on the forefront eversince.

Despite the seriousness of the charges, we could come to the conclusion that by pleading guilty on one count he will try to improve his public image since he was also busted for drugs last month in Pennsylvania and is also facing 2 felony charges in the U.S.

Kobe Bryant Dies in Helicopter Crash

Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar who won five championships with the team and was often compared to Michael Jordan, died Sunday in a helicopter crash. He was 41.

Officials confirm to Variety that Bryant was a passenger on board a helicopter that crashed in the Los Angeles County suburb of Calabasas.

TMZ first reported the news.

Bryant was allegedly traveling in his own private helicopter when it crashed. At least three other people were killed.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.

An 18-time NBA All-Star, Bryant was widely considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all-time. He was voted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2008 and went on to win two gold medals with the USA Men’s Basketball team in 2008 and 2012.

In 2018, Bryant won an Academy Award for his short film, “Dear Basketball.”

Colby Covington Attends Miami Heat Game Alongside Lil Pump

Covington suffered his first defeat since 2015 when he was TKO’d by Kamaru Usman in the fifth round of their back-and-forth welterweight title fight at UFC 245 earlier this month.

“Chaos” has not been active on social media much since but in a recent Instagram story, he was seen courtside at Miami Heat game along with rapper Lil Pump.

Covington was in good spirits and looked healthy overall other than a stitch below his right eye. If you recall, Covington notably suffered a broken jaw during his fight with Usman.

But that doesn’t appear to be a problem anymore based on the Instagram story, at least.

When it coms to returning to the Octagon, Covington is itching to compete again according to his manager and American Top Team owner Dan Lambert:

“He is a 10 out of 10 as far as what I would hope his mindset would be after a fight like that,” Lambert said. “He wants to get right back in. He wants to get right back into training. He wants to get back into training as soon as he’s ready health wise. He wants to get back and prove that he’s the best.”
