Few days ago, the Rap sphere had to reveal one of its best kept secret. The dropshipping.
That’s a weird one … Soulja Boy had to come back to the forefront but we don’t think he expected that.
The young Emcee opened a few days ago, Souljagame.com, an E-Commerce platform, dedicated to the promotion of what seemed to be a collection of knock-off game consoles which came pre-loaded with hundreds of unlicensed ROMs.
As we all agree, SB enjoys a large fan base, such as 4 million followers on IG, which propeled the launch to an immediate success as The “Crank That” rapper shared screencapture of his daily income with amount adding up to $800K.
Taunted by the dropshipping movement, the rapper decided to try his hand at flogging counterfeit products including what seemed to be a Game Boy unlicensed clone.
For the time beeing, there has been no official statement from Nintendo nor SB’s legal team explaining if it was a preventive move frmo the rapper or if he directly received threats from the Gaming company offering to sue him for stealing their intellectual property.
To be continued …
