CHIEF KEEF RELEASES TWO ZERO ONE SEVEN ON DATPIFF

Published

on

CHICAGO – After the release of his own kush brand the Turbo OG and the fake interview that was released online and take down after he personally adressed it, The chiraqean savage entered 2017 with his new project Two Zero One Seven and just shared it on Datpiff

Laced with 17 tracks, with production from the likes of Young Chop & Lex Luger alongside Chief Keef himself who took care of eleven of the whole project, the follow up to Nobody 2 has surely been the most long awaited project in the Drill scene and Sosa guarantee it will raise the crime rate in Chicago.

According to our first listenning, we can’t really reunite with the big chief keef sosa on the first tracks of the mixtape. It’s only from ” Reefah ” produced by the legendary producer Lex Luger that Keef starts to really go in and kick it the chiraq way. Same goes for the following tracks, until the number eight which is actually produced by his longtime friend Chop but where he is the featured artist as ” hit the lotto ” is actually his sister’s kash song.

A cool tape but it seems that the young king that coined the drill music back in chiraq finds it hard to channel ” the  old him ” and pains to keep the intensity on a production and lyrical level.

He shared on his instagram account one of a series of alternate mixtape cover, that you will be able to see on his graphic designer’s instagram account here.

Covington suffered his first defeat since 2015 when he was TKO’d by Kamaru Usman in the fifth round of their back-and-forth welterweight title fight at UFC 245 earlier this month.

“Chaos” has not been active on social media much since but in a recent Instagram story, he was seen courtside at Miami Heat game along with rapper Lil Pump.

Covington was in good spirits and looked healthy overall other than a stitch below his right eye. If you recall, Covington notably suffered a broken jaw during his fight with Usman.

But that doesn’t appear to be a problem anymore based on the Instagram story, at least.

When it coms to returning to the Octagon, Covington is itching to compete again according to his manager and American Top Team owner Dan Lambert:

“He is a 10 out of 10 as far as what I would hope his mindset would be after a fight like that,” Lambert said. “He wants to get right back in. He wants to get right back into training. He wants to get back into training as soon as he’s ready health wise. He wants to get back and prove that he’s the best.”
