Drake Mourns Loss Of OVO Affiliate Reps up Fif After Shooting

This week, Drake and members of OVO Sound are mourning the sudden death of friend and OVO Sound affiliate, Anthony “Fif” Soares.

According to news report, the 33-year-old man, later identified as Anthony Soares, was shot multiple times at close range by the two suspects, after walking into the lobby of a building in Scarborough, Toronto early morning on Thursday.

Armed with handguns the two suspects unloaded their weapons on Anthony and immediately fled the scene. shot 7 times on Glamorgan Ave (Kennedy/401), emergency ran to trauma center where the victim was pronounced dead.

Fif’s Death was also confirmed by Drake via Instagram. The Canadian rhymer provided a picture of what was part of the OVO photoshoot with the following caption:

“RIP to one of our family members…our brother… I still can’t even believe this morning was real. It was an honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive Forever Fif”

 

Fif was last seen around the Canadian rapper at the Yorkdale OVO store that opened in Toronto. he was part of the G-way Reps Up crew, and was mentionned in Drake’s ‘No Long Talk‘ Featuring drake :

Kobe Bryant Dies in Helicopter Crash

Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar who won five championships with the team and was often compared to Michael Jordan, died Sunday in a helicopter crash. He was 41.

Officials confirm to Variety that Bryant was a passenger on board a helicopter that crashed in the Los Angeles County suburb of Calabasas.

TMZ first reported the news.

Bryant was allegedly traveling in his own private helicopter when it crashed. At least three other people were killed.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.

An 18-time NBA All-Star, Bryant was widely considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all-time. He was voted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2008 and went on to win two gold medals with the USA Men’s Basketball team in 2008 and 2012.

In 2018, Bryant won an Academy Award for his short film, “Dear Basketball.”

The upcoming colorway features a tonal sage green Primeknit upper accented by a reflective woven post-dyed monofilament side stripe running along the center portion of the lateral side. Drawing from the color elements associated with MA-1 bomber jackets, the shoe features matching weaved laces and a contrasting orange sockliner. Elevating the shoe is a matching encapsulated full-length BOOST sole unit with a gum rubber outsole segment.

Colby Covington Attends Miami Heat Game Alongside Lil Pump

Covington suffered his first defeat since 2015 when he was TKO’d by Kamaru Usman in the fifth round of their back-and-forth welterweight title fight at UFC 245 earlier this month.

“Chaos” has not been active on social media much since but in a recent Instagram story, he was seen courtside at Miami Heat game along with rapper Lil Pump.

Covington was in good spirits and looked healthy overall other than a stitch below his right eye. If you recall, Covington notably suffered a broken jaw during his fight with Usman.

But that doesn’t appear to be a problem anymore based on the Instagram story, at least.

When it coms to returning to the Octagon, Covington is itching to compete again according to his manager and American Top Team owner Dan Lambert:

“He is a 10 out of 10 as far as what I would hope his mindset would be after a fight like that,” Lambert said. “He wants to get right back in. He wants to get right back into training. He wants to get back into training as soon as he’s ready health wise. He wants to get back and prove that he’s the best.”
