Few days ago, Zac to it to his IG and Twitter account to announce its soon-to-be released Brand new FTP capsule collection.
The extensive lookbook featured an extensive array of hoodie, sweater, Tees and more proudly worn by none other than our Chiraq Drillers G Herbo , formely known as Lil Herb and Lil Bibby .
However, not everything went as expected when they went live with the new release. Zac shared a message on IG which reads:
“As you may know, we had an issue earlier with our website. Due to the amount of traffic on the website the shopify servers crashed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. This has never happened before. Shopify is doing an internal investigation regarding the issue.
If you see a charge on your bank account and weren’t able to purchase anything, this is only a preauthorization and the money will be returned to your account.
We weren’t anticipating this problem, and are working to prevent it in the future . Thank you for your eontinued gupport.”
As of now, we can only suppose problem could have surfaced from a massive botnet attack on their marketplace through Shopify’s web servers, as the young CEO’s success would largely turn him into an easy target for jealous hackers and rivals.
By looking at his post on Twitter, we can clearly assume that the site was attacked by a large amount of bots since a platform like Shopify which has lately teamed up with Facebook to launch a shop add-on to the mighty social media. So it would be nonsense to think they can’t grant access to large numbers of visitors simultaneously.
We will keep you updated as the story unfold.
