Kanye West Reveals 2020 Running Mate, Confirms He Had COVID-19

Published

Anybody skeptical about Kanye West’s seemingly spur-of-the-moment announcement that he was running for President should wake up because it’s happening.

In an exclusive interview with Forbes, the recording artist/fashion designer spoke about his platform, revealing his running mate for the upcoming Presidential Election, clarifying which party he’s running for, speaking about a potential vaccine for the coronavirus, and more.

This upcoming election is one of the most important in recent memory. With his previous support of Donald Trump looming over everyone’s heads, West was quick to discuss whether he’s still a fan of the controversial forty-fifth President.

“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” he said, revealing that he is no longer on board with Trump’s ideals.

As for which platform he will be running for, West is creating his own. Calling it the Birthday Party, he has said that he’s already got support from Elon Musk and others, and that he’s running so he could win. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’m doing to win.”

His running mate will be Michelle Tidball, a preacher from Wyoming.

One of the most critiqued aspects of West’s late announcement has been the effect it will have on Joe Biden’s campaign. Many believe that West will only take away from the Black votes and those of young voters, hindering Biden’s campaign to a degree that would give Trump an easy win. He seems to be okay with that.

“I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy,” said West about siphoning away the Black vote from Biden.

In addition, West said that he’s never voted in his life, and that he had coronavirus back in February. He has recovered but, apparently, he’s not entirely down with a COVID-19 vaccine. He called vaccines “the mark of the beast.”

His stance on abortion was also made clear, as he said that “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”

With all this said, will you be voting for Kanye West in the fall?

The Verzuz pot continues to be stirred by the self-proclaimed King of the South. We’ve watched as 50 Cent has laughed off T.I.’s Verzuz battle challenge, but that hasn’t stopped T.I. from poking the bear. The Friends & Family Hustle star sat down with AllDef’s Roast This and admitted that 50 Cent wasn’t even his first choice, as T.I. really had his eyes on another New York icon.

“To be honest with you man, I want Jay!” T.I. revealed. “Who can see [Jay-Z] sitting down to do a battle? If I’m a billionaire,  I’m not finna do that, either, but me and 50 ain’t that far off. As far as our confidence, as far as our bankrolls go, we kinda neck and neck, whether he wants to [admit] it or not. And another thing, it’s personality. I need somebody who has a personality that won’t be so intimidated by my bravado.”

Elsewhere, T.I. gave the simple reason why he believes that he can take 50 Cent. “I’m doper,” said T.I. “I don’t care who sold however many records, I don’t care who has more number ones whether that means I’m up, meaning I have more number ones, more records sold, less records sold. Don’t care about that. I think my catalog is doper.” The rapper said his catalog stretches back from 2001 until present day, and he believes it’s better than Fif’s. T.I. described how he has a diverse mix of music that has a little something for everybody, so check out T.I. explaining why he tops Fif musically below.

If there’s a Hollywood couple that makes everyone adore them and turn green with envy simultaneously, it’s Ciara and Russell Wilson. The beaming couple never skips a beat in sharing their wedded bliss as their growing, blended family is often seen on social media enjoying a life of luxury and togetherness. Not every famous couple can boast of the same happiness, including Love & Hip Hop’s A1 Bentley, or SprngBrk as he’s now calling himself, and his estranged wife, Lyrica Anderson.

The two have put their marriage woes on display for reality television fans, but recently, the couple took themselves from VH1 to the Zeus Network as features on The Conversation. There, they spoke openly about his infidelities and Lyrica’s inability to move on, and according to A1, he knows that he’s a Russell Wilson type of man.

“I have had my fun, I have been out there and I know that it’s nothing out there,” A1 said. “So, speaking from experiences I’m telling you… It’s like hitting the lottery, I will tell you that.
