Lil Xan hails from Inland Empire; Redlands California to be more specific, and that was pretty much all that we knew about him a year ago. But the underground sensation has been chasing clout way too hard not to leave durable tracks behind him.
While pretty much everything about him remains a mystery, the Lil-Peepesque white boy with face tats and xanned out flow (hence his name) is fairly new to the scene, but has grown a big following in the past two years.
Now getting into some more heavy venture such as his ‘ betrayed ‘ videoclip, directed by Cole Benneth for a modest total of 3.6 million views in less than 10 days, the young xanarchy rapper has gone from zero to a hundred real quick.
Paving a whole new way in the L.A. underground scene, Lil Xan likes to talk about his pills and his bitches, after that he doesn not care much. His beats are drowned in bass, hella smooth, and make you want to bang it out the whip with the windows down. He mostly raps about bitches, drugs, and how he’s flexing harder than you. Honestly, he probably is.
His most popular song to date is “Been Bout It” with 141k plays on Soundcloud. Personally, my favorite songs by him are Ridinround, Clout, and Who Are You.
Lil Xan, born September 6, 1996, has been rapping for less than a year, and has already been taking the game by storm. The young rapper has caught the attention of tons of people with his unique sound, style, and image. I was lucky enough to meet up with Lil Xan a couple weeks ago down in Austin and ask him a few questions. Learn all about the young star below!
Texas I was with my homie and we were in the liquor store and he was like, “bruh, imma call you Lil Xan,” because I was fucking around with the nickname ‘Baby Niquil’ and that shit was hard, but he said he was gonna call me Lil Xan because I was hella off the bars.
Candy, because that’s my moms name. The Z’s because I was faded and I thought that was cool, and the low for obviously Low Gang.
Robesman is my Uncle/Dad. They’re just super cool people that got hip and started fucking with me and they’re really cool nice people. Robesman and I decided to do the Robesman Xan collab and that went pretty well. Adam, I don’t know Adam very well, but he’s definitely the homie.
The 21-year-old is from Inland Empire, California More specifically.
