Producing for artists such as Future, Migos, Soulja Boy and OJ Da Juice before they even got famous. The A&R of all producer end up with an extended catalogue of productions that has every aspiring producer envious. Marketing throught production ventures the MPC cartel has been spreading through the web like a maligneant tumor on its final phase.

First off, can you introduce the cartel for those who don’t know you ?

I am Cartel also known as “Low777Key” and I am one half of MPC Cartel.

You have to be one of the most consistent underground crew , with production for pretty much the whole rap game, how do you make the difference from other producers ?

Keeping an innovative mindset & coming up with new ideas/concepts to try with my production.
What is your work process ? is there one of y’all that do the melodies and the other the drums ?

I don’t have a particular process. We (@LpDaGreatBeatz & I) make different types of beats & are fluent in more than one DAW For me, it just depends on how the sounds “land.” Sometimes the first sound I choose or play might sound dope & I’ll run with that… That sound may be a drum, an instrument, a sample… Just depends… Other than that I’ll just search through sounds & instruments until I find something that’s sounds dope…
What part your marketing played  ( digitaliink, soulja ) in your career ?

Social media plays a major role for marketing… “SM” is a platform that gets our product(ion) directly to the consumer… The buzz that comes from major artists on our production is what keeps the traffic coming in!

Your catalogue is really impressive, who are the actual artist you go in studio with ?

A lot, but more often with OJ DA juiceman… Migos … Cartel MGM…

You have been networking with producer across the globe and pretty much interact as an A&R as you tend to pull out placement for the collaborations you charge them for ?

Yes I charge them for collabs because if I collab with each & everybody asking for one I’d never have time to invest in producers that look up to MPC Cartel & take investing in themselves seriously
Who was the first major artist to bless the lease ?

A rapper from Atlanta named LIL HOT(R.I.P.) got me my first placement via Livemixtapes After that Cartel MGM then OJ The Juice..

Who is to you the biggest artist you have work for to this day ? and which artist would you like to produce for ?

For my situation I think soulja boy & Migos As I mention the role SM plays in marketing soulja & Migos got the most “juice” when it comes to being relevant in social media. And Bankroll Fresh. LLBRF. And I guess Future… A lot of people don’t know I actually co-produced Smoke & Mirrors from future’s True Story Mixtape. Artists I want to work with : Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Drake …

what is the best advice you could give upcoming producers ?

Find an artist that sound good on your beats & try to be innovative with your production & your marketing.

What do you have coming up next ?

We have four tapes dropping on the same day. Chinatown & Ammunition (Hosted By DJ Murph) + SODCartel & MGMCartel (Hosted By DJ Double Cup) Compilation projects featuring all production from MPC Cartel
Just putting it all in one place for anybody that’s been rocking with MPC Cartel so they can enjoy it & keep rocking with us!!
