Not even death can stop Oliver Tree’s Flow

Published

Certainly one of the most inspired artist of the moment, Oliver tree delivers the product with intense creative design and intensive music production.

In an email, he explained how the song and video are directly inspired by a scooter crash that he was involved in a few years ago while competing in a pro-competition—he wound up breaking both of his wrists and right hand. That said, Tree doesn’t want to taint how others perceive his art based on his own personal experiences though. Instead, he wants viewers to “decide for themselves and apply it to their life in whatever way it makes sense.”

For the final set at this weekend’s Camp Flog GnawTyler, The Creator came out as the final host and asked it he could welcome some friends to the stage. Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky came out first and had a minute on stage before the real surprise happened. Fans have been clamoring and hoping Frank Ocean would make an appearance, but soon the opening notes rang out to “Started From The Bottom” and it was Drake that hit the stage hard.

Still, fans may have been expecting too much. Way too much speculating on that Frank Ocean slot, especially given he sprang to life again recently and started to drop some new music. Lots of unhappy vibes hitting the stage, sadly…
