Rich The Kid Brings out the heavy artillery for New Freezer’s Official Videoclip featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Rich The Kid has previewed the track for month, prior to its official release and was originally thought to include A$AP Ferg and Madeintyo.

A month ago, the Ben Jayne produced track titled ‘New Freezer‘ was finally released and considered Rich’s most prominent feature since West Coast’s heavyweight Kendrick Lamar jumped on it.

But it was only the beginning since today is the release of the official videoclip and they did it big. Directed by TDE’s President Dave Free and Movie Director Jack Begert from Psychofilms, who was also behind the camera for Kendrick’s ‘God is Gangsta‘ and Shoolboy Q’s ‘Groovy Tony‘ just to name few. In the teaser to down below, which was respectively posted on Rich’s IG, you can see three strippers twerking throught the shop window to the intro of the instrumental, with the Rich Forever CEO in a glittering pair of trousers, standing immobile for the duration of the sequence.

Last month, during an extensive interview with Bootleg Kev at 92.3 LA ‘The real after party’, the young CEO talked about his affiliation with T.D.E‘s camp,  and cleared that he wasn’t signed to the label, that it was ‘family’ and explained how he met Kendrick and that the song came about when he was recording at the Interscope’s studio, and his A&R Manny smith introduced him :

‘I was like freaked out because for me,you know, I’m saying ‘that’s Kendrick Lamar!’; I mean, I haven’t been in there as long as him, I’m younger so it was just a big thing. I played two records for him, and ‘new freezer’ was like the one that he was like ‘Yo, I gotta get on this!’

Lil Wayne Channels XXXTentacion’s Spirit In Their “Dont Cry” Videoclip

We would not have expected ever, to read the word Featuring between Lil Wayne’s name and Jahseh, but we had the surprise earlier tonight to witness the industry’s ways.

Tha Carter V may have been the most heavily anticipated and postponed album of the decade and its release is still uncertain. While fans grew to believe “Tha Carter V” would end up like Detox; a piece of hip-hop history that would never see the light of day. Things have worked out for Tunechi’s fans though when the project was finally set free.

While journalism isn’t about personal opinion but more information oriented, we can’t help but strongly react to this trend which promotes posthumous collaboration, as if there were an afterlife market for artist whom could treat themselves with a collaboration of dead artists.

After “Falling Down”, which is a sumptuous up-tempoed track with Lil Peep and XXXTentation released after the passed away, few artists tried their hands at releasing posthumous collaboration.

As surprisingly as it can sound, Lil Wayne’s song is a thought and uncompromising tribute to the missed artist, a mausoleum for the New Orleans artist to gather and hold a special remembrance to the too early gone talent.

However, what is more intriguing is that Wayne refuses to acknowledge the young rapper. Disturbing, that the Best rapper alive isn’t aware of the hottest ast in the industry, especially one who has been beefing a year before with one of his artists, none other than Drake, on a mainstream level.

What could supposedly explain his position, was the late lyrics to “I’m upset”, which could allegedly tie the Canadian rapper to XXXTentacion’s murder.

Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
