Supreme Confirms Michael Jackson Capsule Collection

Last month, rumors of a possible Supreme x Michael Jackson capsule collection surfaced online. At the time, the reports on the collab remained vague, with no information available for consumers. Today however, the streetwear brand confirmed the upcoming release of the Michael Jackson collection with a post on Instagram showcasing one of the apparel pieces from the collection.

Posting online a photo of Supreme and Grind Magazine’s Spring/Summer editorial, the New York City retailer introduced one of the garments from the upcoming collection. Showcasing the backside of a white tee, Supreme highlights a monochromatic image of a young Michael Jackson in red a color scheme.

While Supreme’s post on IG confirms the drop of this collection, apparel pieces and accessories from the capsule, have yet to be released by Supreme. Expect the brand in the coming days to announce more news on this release as well as detailed images of the collection.

In related Supreme news, the New York City retailer introduced a few days ago its latest collaboration with Levi’s for spring and summer of 2017. Compromised of jean trucker jacket and 501 jeans, the collection dropped earlier today at all U.S. and European Supreme flagship stores.

New FTP Lookbook Just Released Featuring G Herbo & Lil Bibby

G Herbo (formerly Lil Herb) and Lil Bibby burst onto the Chicago hip-hop scene together with their underground hit “Kill Shit” in 2012.

The two have collabed frequently over the years, mostly on the music front. The two now have linked up to star in the lookbook for FTP’s upcoming collection.

Los Angeles-based streetwear label FTP (full name FUCKTHEPOPULATION) has just revealed the lookbook for their upcoming collection. The photos are taken by Vuhlandes, a photographer hailing from the westside of Detroit, and feature Herb and Bibby in various tees, jackets, pants, jeans, hoodies and more.

Check out the complete FTP lookbook below. The collection will be available starting May 30th at 2pm CDT on fuckthepopulation.com. G Herbo’s PTSD Deluxe Edition is out now on all streaming platforms.

Supreme’s Takashi Murakami Box Logo Relief Tee Garner $1 Million for Charity

Supreme and Takashi Murakami‘s recent charitable initiative saw the duo joining forces to create a special Box Logo T-shirt that provided funds to HELP USA, a charity that provides vulnerable youths and families with shelter, food, and essential services. The entire stash of collaborative T-shirts sold out in seconds and the entirety of the have been calculated and sent to HELP USA: a whopping $1,052,040 USD.

Brooklyn-based HELP USA is the latest recipient of Supreme’s charitable push, but the skate brand has offered thoughtful drops in the past. Recently, it partnered with former creative director Luke Meier’s OAMC for an immigration initiative and it once created a bespoke teddy bear in partnership with Louis Vuitton to benefit the BBC’s Children in Need.
