After the recent denial of their Pop up shop in NY, Supreme is rumoured to be opening a brand new store in Brooklyn. According to the Instagram account @supreme_Leaks_News, the streetwear Mainstay seems, in terms of location particularly keen on a grand street spot clocking in at 3,000 square feet. The rumor has been circulating for quite a long time now, as soon as the allegations started to spread, rumors around a new grand opening bogo tee spreaded on social media. Similarly to the OVO Store, they choose a close street affiliated skateboarder from the OG Supreme Team to operate as store manager, Jefferson Pang.
For skeptics, the main reason for the expansion will be to avoid any kind of foreclosure as they are often borderline with the law and has become a public safety hazard.
As a reminder In 2014, the NYPD shut down the in-store launch of the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite 1 after a growing crowd of overzealous sneakerheads became a bit too rowdy and secret box logo hoodie sign-up in the West Village was also recently canceled due to safety concerns.
However Supreme heads have another opening to look forward to as were spotted ad pop-ups posters for the highly anticipated Supreme x Louis Vuitton collaboration which is slated to be open from June 29 through July 2.
