TROY AVE HOSPITALIZED AFTER BEING SHOT DURING NEW YORK CONCERT

Published

on

NEW YORK – Popular New York City concert venue Irving Plaza erupted into chaos Wednesday night after shots were fired during rapper T.I.’s show. Not long after bullets began flying, attendees scrambled to escape, all the while snapping photos and videos, which lead to speculation about who may have been responsible and who had gotten hit.

His entourage has confirmed that Brooklyn-based rapper Troy Ave was among those injured during the concert. According to his camp, the “She Belongs to the Game” rapper was struck in the leg by a bullet. The extent of Collins’ injuries wasn’t reported as of Thursday morning, but he is said to be recovering at New York University Hospital in Manhattan.

Confirmation comes after conflicting reports circulated on social media. Many people in attendance at the concert reported that they saw a man who resembled Collins, 30, go down after being struck by a bullet, but they could not say for certain. Others suggested that the shots were fired by members of his crew. Those reports have yet to be confirmed. A friend of rapper 50 Cent was also directly affected by the shooting, according to Myles Miller, of New York’s Pix 11 News. The “No Romeo, No Juliet” rapper was seen visiting Bellevue Hospital, where he said his friend’s girlfriend was recovering after having been shot.

He wants to get back into training as soon as he’s ready health wise. He wants to get back and prove that he’s the best.”
