Houston, Texas – A group of people was attacked near Houston while shooting a music video at a parking lot. Authorities said that a “lot of shots were fired” in the deadly attack, and asked any witnesses to come forward.
While police have not ruled out if it was a gang-related shooting as they are currently investigating the drive-by just outside Houston, news came out that two people have been killed and up to seven others wounded resulting of an ambush at the filming of a rap music video near Houston, Texas.

“@HCSOTexas are at the 500 block of Smart Street, reference a drive-by shooting. Initial report indicates 4 gunshot wound victims. Of the 4, two have been confirmed at the scene and the other two are wounded. Still an active scene. Details are limited. #HouNews “
The number of gunmen involved was not clear, he told reporters. The motive was also yet to be established and any connection to gang violence was yet to be ruled out.
He said of the victims: “All of the sudden, basically they were ambushed, we believe, by individuals in cars and/or foot.
“This is a very serious situation – this is a residential neighbourhood. A lot of shots were fired,” he added.
The two people killed were declared dead at the scene while at least four of those hurt suffered what were described as serious wounds.
