French Designer Makes Off-White™ x Nike’s “The Ten” UpTempo

Published

After Supreme revisited the shoes, it’s french designer The Golden Shape turns to Nike x Off White to give it their twist to the legendary sneaker.

Abloh was given “Shoe of the Year” at the FNAA for his collaborative work with Nike, on the Air Jordan 1 that was released back in September. After taking on ten classic Nike sneakers, French creator The Golden Shape decided to add his twist on legendary kicks. The shoes are so realistics that even our expert friends at hypebeast could thought Abloh was adding two more silhouettes to ‘The Ten’ collection.

The 27 Year-old designer is actually creating a name for himself in the sneaker industry, as it hasn’t been the first time that he creates a buzz from his living room’s desk in Paris.

Few weeks ago the sneaker and Spreme community reacted to his version of the Air Mag in a ‘Desert blue Camo’ stirring people’s passion.

Today he is back with two new silhouette, and despite featuring only his Uptempo twist in the headline, he also gave the air max plus its own Off White version.

Inspired by the ‘Ghosting’ color palette, the two pair come in full white from the actual ‘The Ten’ collection, with every details created by virgil, such as the branded “SHOELACE” and the orange tag in the lace hole. What striked us the most is the shape of the letters on the Up-tempos that look almost real.

Getting close to reality is his goal and the mock-ups are neat and precise. However they are not ‘real’, the young artist could get himself a job in the Nike studio soon.
